By those standards, Brother Huckabee is no Christian. It is almost certain that each one of those children said they prayers every night and that the adults were members of various religious organizations. As for prayer at school, this is what Christ said about prayer: But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.      And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Prayer is not a public matte THOUGHTS ON ZEALOTRY I'm a child of the 1940s.... My religious training came from Sunday School and home, and that's as it shuold be. My education came from public schools where there were no prayers, Bible readings or morning devotionals on the school intercom. In spite of that, we grew up to be decent adults, so I guess "God" didn't mind. I believe that religion, like prayer is an indidual matter. Zealot preachers should respect that. Stop selling your brand using any and every tragic occurrence as an excuse to shove it at us once again.
